An important focus of the programme is to assist a person in need ability to improve achievement. Research does demonstrate clearly that aspirations play an important role in mental, educational and professional achievement.
Effective support programmes can boost participant’s aspirations, confidence, self-belief and motivation. Crucially, such programmes enhance participants ‘soft skills’- personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, friendliness, and optimistic outlook – which are increasingly important for success at school or college and moving off benefits and into the job market. Personal support is offered with a view to improve lifestyle position. While supported by the programme the aim is to equip candidates with the ability to cope with everyday life stresses as well as improved sense of wellbeing.
The programme for the individual will be delivered in one to one and small groups and they will participate in a range of related activities, which will directly enhance their ability to compete in future educational and professional environments. Before the start of a period of support we will agree with you a tailored programme for the selected person in need.
Message from the founder Ben Warden.
We are all working through these challenging times in different ways and serving our community as best we can. For some of us that has meant producing all kinds of materials and resources, for others it has meant supporting any vulnerable community members through on-line guidance and counselling. Thank you all for your continued efforts and may god bless each and every one of us and continue to guide and bless us through to a new dawn of vitality and wellness.
